KEEPING SCORE by Rebecca Jenshak was such a quick and fun audiobook for me. Just what I needed and the hours just flew by.

I loved all the tropes: the accidental marriage, neighbors, he falls first, and a little bit of found family. I also loved how they slowly built their love, how he proved his love for her. It was basically love at first sight for him, while for her it took a bit longer, which made it even sweeter 🥹. They definitely had their fun moments and complications along the way, but I loved seeing them figure it all out together. In the end I had a big smile on my face.

NIGHTWOLF by Karina Halle was a fun friends-to-lovers story between a human and a vampire with heavy and emotional situations.

It is a spin-off from another series, so I do think it's better to read that one first. I really enjoyed being back in this world and seeing how these characters eventually came together. This story deals with a lot of intense emotions like grief and death, making it a much more emotionally heavy read than I expected.

PROMISE TO LOVE YOU by J. Saman was the perfect ending to the series. Omg, I just love a best friend's little sister romance.

There was some unnecessary drama at times, but I loved how these two came together. They both have their own issues and things to overcome, which made it easy to root for them.

I really enjoyed the Hawaii setting and, of course, seeing all my favourite characters from the previous books again. The epilogue was also so sweet and funny.

LOVE TO TEMPT YOU by J. Saman was such a fun rockstar romance and I had a great time with it.

I loved the connection and banter between the main characters, especially with their shared history. The FMC wants to stand on her own while the MMC just wants to be her hero, which made for some really sweet moments.

I do wish they had gone a little deeper emotionally, but overall this was a really entertaining read that I flew through.

SEASONS OF WAR by Lindsay French was such an incredible start to a new series and I completely fell in love with it.

This is a long story, but I took my time with it and somehow I never felt bored. Every chapter kept me invested because all of the characters were so interesting. We have two main characters (they have TOP TIER banter!!), but I genuinely loved so many of the side characters as well.

This author really does not care how much emotional damage she does to you 😭. There were moments where I cried, moments that made my heart feel so heavy, and so many times I was just thinking... noooooo, why?! I ended up marking so many passages and quotes because there were so many moments that stayed with me.

I also loved how this dystopian fantasy world was built. It truly feels like a story about war, with all the difficult choices, deception, manipulation, and heartbreaking consequences that come with it. Some of these characters are seriously twisted, and I loved how cleverly everything was woven together.

Please do check the trigger warnings before going into this one, as it deals with heavy topics like war and torture. And that ending... what a cliffhanger 😭😭😭. I already need the next book.

LOVE TO HATE HER by J. Saman was exactly the palate cleanser I needed. It was a fun, entertaining read with a good pace that kept me engaged and listening beginning to end.

I really liked the rockstar single dad and nanny romance tropes, especially with the added history between the characters. The fact that she is the ex-girlfriend of his brother definitely made things interesting, and I loved watching their relationship slowly develop.

One of my favorite parts of the story was the care and thought that went into the representation of the autistic child. It felt like an important part of the story and I appreciated how it was explained and woven into the character their lives.

Some plot points were a little predictable, but honestly that didn't take away from my enjoyment. This was just such a fun read and exactly what I needed after all the fantasy books 🥹.
