FOUR: THE INITIATE by Veronica Roth was really short but really good. I love to see his dedication and what it means for him during his initiate times and how he is starting to make more connections. It was packed with emotions and helped me understand this world more and more.

FOUR: THE TRANSFER by Veronica Roth is such a good short background story on Four and how he got into his faction and what it means to him. I love how much background you get about a character even with a story that's not that long.

FIRST by Ali Hazelwood gave me a lot of information in the beginning and I needed to give myself a moment to make it make sense (at least a little haha). It took me some time to get into it, but I did find it really interesting when I got there.

There were a lot of politics and that made it fun. I kind of liked how short it was and it flowed well despite that. And that one scene, the last spicy one... it was kinda fun but also weird but hot in a possessive way haha. I cannot explain it better 🤣.

FOREVER OFFSIDES by J. Saman had me loving the female narrator from the first moment I listened. Her voice sounds so calm and clear. The male narrator is amazing as well, but for me the female one stole the show.

I love that the FMC gets compared to Christina Yang (and therefore nicknamed Yang), because I love those kinds of character types and I feel like it was done really well. I also love how they met and got hot, and how they get to know each other slowly... like REALLY slowly. They text for months until their first call... and then that call. Hot damn 🫠. I also loved how he follows her running to make sure she is safe 🥹. Something happens and this was CRAZY UNEXPECTED, but I think it's good because it does give us more answers.

The epilogue was so much fun and I love how everything came together in the end and how things work out. It's not in the way that I expected, but I think it is how it works best for these characters. The story is really about how their love builds. A bit cryptic, but no spoilers here, if you read it you'll understand 🤭. And the bonus epilogue might even have been even better hihi.

THE LION AND THE DEATHLESS DARK by Carissa Broadbent took me a little bit to get reacquainted with this world and its characters, but it feels so good to be back.

From part two it started to get really good, high paced and with a lot of good moments twined in with the sad and painful ones. I love how their emotions go so deep and how slow burn this is.

And it was beautiful how this story twisted and turned. I did not see everything coming, and after that ending I cannot wait to see what chaos will be unlocked 🤯.

Both these characters carry the weight of the world, and I loved seeing them balance each other out when needed 🥹.

LOVE REWRITTEN by J. Saman was given to me for free by the author since it is not a published story anymore 💕📖. It's a college romance and I think one of her first books, and also unedited. That was noticeable, but I could still really recognize the writing and passion the author put into this work, just in the beginning stages of her career, which seems logical. I did enjoy the story and characters though, it was fun to read and I am glad I got the chance to read one of her earlier stories 🥰.

THE DEFENDER by Ana Huang had the right kind of tension between the two main characters and I lovehow everything started. Where in the last book the pace felt way off, this one did it sooo well. It just flowed naturally and it made sense for the character development as well.

I also LOVE both these characters 😍. They made me swoon and laugh, and I loved how they eventually started to communicate better instead of keeping things from each other or denying what they were feeling or saying.

"She was here, she was safe, and she was mine. For the first time in my life, love didn't feel like a risk. It felt like the safest bet I'd ever made."

The LDR part was especially sweet for me because it's something I resonate with personally. 🥹 And the ending for these two was perfect!
