k0pipandan wrote a review...
Such a beautiful well written book, the emotions are raw and earnest.
As the writer's note said, this book was written for those who are forced by circumstances to leave their homeland. It also doesn't give you the exact chronological order of what happened to Syria, because the goal is to show readers the emotional side of the situation over there.
It's filled with resistance, hope, survival and love. The feelings that are often hidden beneath dealing with grief, PTSD, hallucinations, sorrows and many more.
