So I've never been one to use Amazon a whole lot. (I started looking for a Goodreads alternative when I found out it was owned by Amazon ((yes I live under a rock)) and that's how I made my pagebound account over the summer) So I know Kindles are very popular and they have that whole subscription but I mainly read from my local library or fanfic (lol) so I figured as long as I can get Libby, I'm good.
So anyway a few weeks ago my Kobo Libra 2 finally arrived (color wasn't that important to me + it was cheaper) and so now it's all set up, I'm all logged in, my favorite fanfics are downloaded and uploaded, so now I'm so excited to take this thing with me everywhere.
(Too bad the cross country season is over otherwise I could've taken it with me during invitationals since those last hours)
Anyone else like buy an ereader with the partial intention of fanfic?? Lol like now I can read it and say oh it's a xx genre book instead of like why are you reading on your phone (this comment was the main point of my post but mm Kobo at least you don't have ads on the screen)

à la the PB review page that prompts you to pick 3 emojis to describe a book, what 3 emojis would you use to describe yourself? I feel like the book emoji is a given so maybe avoid that one (or don't I'm not the emoji police) 📚
Mine would be 🤓📻☕

If you could, which book would you rewrite? For me personally,l think l would change "Guest list" by Lucy Foley. Before l continue on why,l want to make something clear! I don't HATE Lucy Foley!Just the book wasn't for me,if you liked/loved the book then lm happy for you ⭐️Now on why l hated the book: ☆Firstly l didn’t like any of the main characters or most of the side ones, except Olivia(the bride's sister)that's why l would like put more personally to the characters 😶 ☆Next is that l didn’t like was that the author tried so hard to make the book spooky when it wasn't 😕(with the past and now timelines) ☆Lastly was the ending! It didn't surprise me.Why?Because we had no clues on who was the murder. Now maybe its me that l didn't get the "clues" but I didn't understand why she choose this person to be the murder(ik they had a hard and sad backstory with the "victim" but l don't take this as a clue!)
These were my reasons,if you think that l didn't get the book then pls explain to me!!And let me be clear again! I don't HATE the author!!⭐️🫶🏼Thank you for reading ✨️🌷

The weekend is upon us! I don’t know about you all but this week felt very long. I have been looking forward to doing some cleaning and baking while listening to audiobooks this weekend. I am also hoping to spend sometime this weekend re-organizing one of my bookshelf’s as it has a mix of books and craft supplies on it.
Do you have any bookish plans or goals for this weekend?

I was in college for accountancy when I first started reading this series and during the time I really wanted to be a forensic accountant - this was one of the few Asian female forensic accountants I was able to find. I did enjoy the read, but the way Ava Lee, our main protagonist, is written does feel like she was written for the male gaze which is a shame, because I personally would have appreciated the plot and stuff more without our girl breasting boobily down the stairs, you feel me?
