[The book finished me 💔] I felt an overwhelming sense of helplessness watching Gregor become trapped, not only physically within his insect body but also mentally within the bizarre logic of his situation. This misplaced anxiety made my heart ache. I felt desperately sorry for him, who was slowly erased and forgotten by many people he sacrificed his life for 🤧 I felt utterly devastated by this novel. It didn't just end it left a permanent mark on my psyche. This book is a profound, unforgettable experience that, quite frankly, finished me off 🥺💔

I wasn't prepared for an ending like that. The conclusion completely took me by surprise 💔 After reading it, I felt numb and was left wrestling with my feelings. I desperately wished their story hadn't ended that way they didn't deserve to suffer sm 😭 !! But, at the same time, I'm genuinely happy that they did, in the end, find their reunion and ultimately ended up tgthr as Achilles wished ✋🏻😭

This was my first Japanese lit read. It was a little difficult for me to keep track of the characters' names I absolutely loved the experience, tho. I certainly looking forward to reading more Japanese lit ✨🇯🇵
