This goal was inspired by a reader's blog from a long time ago. I'm hoping to live 1,000 lives through 1,000 different fictional characters. A few rules to challenge myself: 1) only the first book of a series counts, unless each book in a series has a separate main character; 2) prequels from another character's perspective counts as its own book, as do short stories from different perspectives; 3) short story collections and analogies count as one life; 4) if I read a light novel and manga with the same storyline, only the first light novel will count; and 5) DNF books don't count toward this goal.
