Informative, good for someone who’s familiar with saving and wanting to know more about options outside of just putting money into a 401k and calling it a day. Focuses on explaining environmental investing and the pros and cons of it. Pretty good, liked that they didn’t advertise their services or company throughout the book heavily.

Overall an okay book, wouldn’t say it really gives financial advice. Mostly gives advice on life structure, getting out of your comfort zone, etc. I’ve noticed a pattern of some authors having constant notes and comments on acknowledging racism, homophobia, and more and how that makes it harder for others in a way the author personally wasn’t impacted. I dunno, I suppose I appreciate that it’s mentioned but the way it’s written is always so …meh. But I’d say this book overall is alright but applicable for certain people.

Can really tell that this book was written before 2025… so much has changed (not for the better haha) and it’s so jarring seeing the hesitant hope for student loan forgiveness and such but knowing that things have been wiped clean and we’ve lost a lot of benefits and resources too. What a time to be alive.
