  • Cover Recommendation for Kobo Libra Colour

Hello everyone, I'm looking for cute covers for the Kobo Libra Colour. I currently have the clear plastic case, and I want something else to protect the front. I've been seeing people use their Hobonichi covers with their Kobo. I don't know where to look, haha.

I adored the dynamic between Luc and Elle, the bickering and everything...made me laugh. I was also surprised by the Cantonese representation, so it was nice to see my mother tongue being represented there. The plot was alright. I did see what Tsai was trying to do with the Xianxia genre... but a lot felt missing. The book did get me out of my reading slump, so I'm thankful for that.

    ☹️

I chose this book specifically for my assignment. I barely got to chapter 2; I was still stuck on chapter 1 because I noticed so many things wrong with it. The premise sounded interesting, but the writing and delivery were lacklustre. There was no balance between the dialogue and description, as it was more telling than showing. I had nothing to work with for the assignment because the book was all over the place. I did enjoy the letter in the beginning, but it wasn't enough for me to continue reading.
