wow. i think this book may have been made for me? (at least partially)
i have loved the stars for most of my life, for so many reasons that i can never articulate. i wanted to work at JPL before i realized that i am not a scientist; now i could see myself working there as an archivist. i am also preparing to graduate with a BA in history. this lovely novel about space, time, and love - in all its forms - spoke to my core.
“astronomy was history. because space was time. and that was the thing she loved most about the universe itself.”
this was my first TJR novel and idk how any of her other’s could beat it. i stayed up until 6 am to read it, and am still stunned by the ending.
shoutout to crybabybea for her dnf being an inadvertent recommendation that brought me back to one of my favorite parts of nature <3
