Just re-read Twilight and I was reminded how different Edward was in the book compared to the movie. Now thinking about it, I wish they would’ve made movie Edward a little more like book Edward. And how about some of the cringey thoughts from Bella 😅😂 that’s gotta make you laugh. Either way it was a series I loved growing up and is still nostalgic! Now any time I read this all I can hear is ✨whoah whoah whoah whoaahhh✨ Can’t wait to finally read Midnight Sun

I usually don't pause books and just straight up DNF, but I've recently found several that i'm semi-enjoying but I just know i'm not in the right mindset for it currently, so have paused it to pick up again later. I'm curious for those that pause often - when you return to it days, weeks, months or even years later - do you start from the point in which you paused before or do you start all over again from the beginning?

it was okay but i really enjoyed seeing Helen/Elena/Lenny learn to live again and the friends she made along the way. i could tell some of the story was inspired by Uptown Girls.

Do you write a review immediately upon finishing the book, or do you prefer sitting on it for a bit? I like writing when everything is very fresh in my mind; no more than a day after finishing it, at most, but sometime I do look back on ratings for exemple and think.. I might have been a bit over-generous in the excitment of the read

I am easily distracted, and easily influenced by cute things. I was scrolling on tiktok last night, and Hank Green starts telling me about a bean in my phone. So obv I'm interested. It's an app called Focus Friend. And there's a bean who loves knitting. But it get's distracted when I'm on my phone. So I set a timer for being off my phone, and in that time, the bean can knit socks and scarves. And then I can trade those in for cute things for the bean's room. It's adorable, I love it. I called mine Venus, and I would already die for her. It's made to help focus on work and school. But I figured it'd be good for us readers as well. To focus on the book, and not get up for every little notification on your phone. The bean needs to knit!
