When I tell you I could not put this book down! The banter! The spice! The longing! This book was so well written and had me wanting more the entire time.
Bloodthirsty Beloved is a standalone fantasy about two toxic vampires who get married and have to work together to protect their kingdom.
The dynamic between the characters was so well written. Omg the tension between them!! And the yearning 😩
Ella Fields is absolutely an auto buy author for me.

I had a good time reading this book and I will continue the series but it does read like every other Romantasy book these days.
I definitely enjoyed it though!

I know it’s only February but this may be my favourite book of the year. What a unique and magical story that had me absolutely obsessed from the beginning. Every time I wasn’t reading this book, I was thinking about this book. I was utterly captivated.
The reign of Orrun’s emperor has come to an end. To find a new ruler, a set of trials is held for 7 contestants. One each from Tiger, Hound, Raven, Fox, Bear, Ox and Monkey houses. After the murder of the raven contender, High Scholar Neema is thrust into the role whilst trying to also solve the murder of the former Raven contender.
I loved the depth of the characters and how wholeheartedly I felt their fears and struggles. The humour in this book was terrific and the character of the raven was brilliant to read. Being able to read from so many characters perspectives was so insightful and honestly refreshing because I feel like that isn’t something books do very often.
I genuinely don’t know how Hodgson can top this with book 2 because this was so incredible!! I don’t think I’m going to stop thinking about The Raven Scholar for a long time!

What a magically, charming tale! Cassandra inherits a magical bookshop and has to fight against everything and everyone to save the shops magic from dying and from others trying to take the shop from her.
This book has everything you need in a good cozy read:
Such an easy book to sit down and get lost in.
