Hey gang 👋
Just curious how everyone uses the ‘interested’ feature on here, as it feels like a really cool difference from other book apps.
Do you mark a book as ‘interested’ if you don’t own it and ‘TBR’ if you do? Is ‘interested’ a lesser level of curiosity/urgency whereas ‘TBR’ is more about things you want to get to asap? Or is ‘interested’ a book you’ve heard about and it gets moved to ‘TBR’ once you’ve researched it?
I don’t think there’s a right answer, I’m just ‘interested’ to hear what you all think/gain some inspo about how to use this cool feature! 😊🌟

A decent biography. Made me curious to read more of Sylvia’s poetry - the first half referenced so much of her journals and letters that she does come across as a very mentally unwell person from a very young age. Unsurprising really. Once she marries Ted Hughes I feel as if the biography loses Sylvia’s voice. She fades into an overworked and stressed mother whose writing is neglected. Her inner world shrinks. Definitely curious to read more about her. A good starting point and a decent reading experience - but I am left wanting more.

4.25⭐️ An autobiography, academic lecture and treatise on the importance of compassion all at once, this was a brilliantly rendered insight into the world of forensic pathology, from the minutiae of individual cases to the bigger systemic questions about truth, humanity, and mortality. I only wish certain elements had been expanded on more. Avoid if sensitive to the subject, but otherwise I’d recommend wholeheartedly!
