Interesting premise so far. Never read anything like it, featuring an HBCU where vampires, werewolves, and witches attend. I am trying my best to overlook the grammatical errors/clunky writing I have already come across.
Here is a non-spoiler example:
"Everyone was accounted for when Dr. Marvin T Holmes and you can Google him," I said with a roll of my neck, "began to speak."
Maybe it is just me.

i’ll be honest the beginning is kinda shaky, I got lost a little bit w/ the story building and was going to return it to the library 😭 BUT i’m so glad I stuck with it. It’s cute, funny as hell, the plot builds in a way that gives both the main characters some time to flesh out their back story. I really enjoyed this book!

Mhh I think it does has a interesting premise, but I am having trouble to distinguish between their perspectives. And I am not sure if I like the writing style... I wanna give it a chance because it really sounds fun though!
