Very nice and enjoyable read, without unnecessary drama and with a smooth and funny narrative that really got me laughing. I loved the self-healing side of the book, the grumpy and sunshine trope, the dog, and all the funny dialogues. The middle part of the book was the most interesting and indulging for me - the last 1/4 was dragging a bit too much for me. I enjoyed the writing a lot, however, I had one issue with it - there was sometimes too many words/sentences, like they were explaining too much. I read a comment about it somewhere and now can't unsee it in books. It's like the author is explaining too much about a simple activity and leaves nothing for your brain in order to finish up the thought/sentence. Generally, I really liked the characters, the narrative and the plot. Already got started with the second book in series!

Damn this guy is so straightforward, definitely a change from the previous book and Griffin 😅

🚨 LARGE, CALLOUSED HANDS MENTIONED 🚨
I'm sorry I read too many cowboy romances and now I absolutely laugh everytime I see this line 😂 I do feel sorry for the cowboys and their hands, though 🙈

There are already a few reviews that basically reflect my thoughts, so keeping it short - this book was very average. Sometimes I read a book and think "damn, I could easily write this one" - and I never wrote a book. That was my feeling when reading this one. Also, I read it definitely too fast, skipping words because it was so predcitable. For sure it was cute and I love the cowboy and ranch vibes, I appreciated no existence of big dramas, and I really like Teddy as a character. If her book was the 2nd, I'd continue reading the series, but for now I decided to pause. I prefer books that have a bit of a deeper narrative, especially emotion-wise, and that can make it easier for you to get into their world - this one wasn't it. Big plus, though, for ADHD and neurosensitivity stuff. I'd say this got the most deep explanation in the book 😅

I really enjoy Blair's narrative and what's going on in her head, especially with the whole awkwardness 😅

It bugs me how many things don't add up in the book. Like he's saying to her "no one's ever stood up for me before", and obviously her brother did, which was mentioned somewhere in the beginning. She's also acknowledging nice things he does for her, saying that "no one has ever done it for her", but again-obviously Teddy does a lot of big things for her. Not sure if it's blind love thing on purpose, or just an inconsistent plot. I wish my brain would just ignore it 🫠
