I love books about watch, i loved, you could say, everything about this book. I loved Angua even more, my girl just wants peace and to have a not-so-perfect perfect boyfriend! (And not to have fleas). Carrot is, as always, the nicest guy in town (there's not much competition, but still). I really liked the idea of giving Golem a voice, and i like his atheism. And Vetinari is such an ass, because what do you mean he pretended to be poisoned just because he wanted Vimes to solve the mystery, i swear, they acted like an old married couple throughout the whole book 😭 «'No, sir. Not when I thought about it. I think he's got a sort of soft spot for the Patrician, in his way. He once said that if anyone was going to kill Vetinari he'd like it to be him.' 'Indeed?' 'But he was smiling when he said it. Sort of smiling, anyway.' 'He, er, visits his lordship most days, I believe?' » im starting a rumor
And i liked the storyline with Littlebottom, i like her and i'm glad that she inspired the gnomes to, in a way, express their OWN identity through the clothes they like and the behaviour that suits them, rather than the stereotypical behaviour of gnomes. Oh, and let's have a minute to appreciate Sem Vimes (And his hatred of being rich) And a quote: "We took him and baked him in the fire and he's turned out to be free, he thought. No words in the head except the ones he's chosen to put there himself. And he's not just an atheist, he's a ceramic atheist. Fireproof!"
