Since Ramadan is less than 2 months away (wow time goes so fast), i wanted to ask for some recommendations from anyone and everyone ◡̈ muslim or not These can pertain to Islam or just be Safe For Ramadan books (ie no sex, minimal cursing, etc). Other than reading Quran during Ramadan, i like to still read things for fun. helps keep the hungry thoughts at bay hahah anyone have any good recs or go to stories they read? i’d love to create a list so people can reference it in the future ◡̈ thank you in advance 🤍🖤
p.s. in case anyone is unfamiliar, Ramadan is a holy month in Islam where Muslims fast from dawn to sunset. it’s as much a physical cleanse as it is a spiritual one :) no food, no water, just pure spirituality ♡

i don’t think it’s humanly possible to describe how much i love this manga . the art is beautiful, the characters are EVERYTHING to me, they’ve worked so hard and pushed through so many barriers and they’re KIND and they care for one another and they’re GOOD !!!!!! they’re so good i love them so much . im not usually a gatekeeper but i hope this manga stays a hidden gem, the thought of having to share it with others makes me feel so evil </3

“every so often they would slide back the grate on the door and peer in, like she was a cake in the oven, to make sure she was all right”
