I really enjoyed "The World of Null-A" (The World of Ā) by A.E Van Vogt. It's from 1948 and is a Canadian science fiction novel. Considering when it was written Vogt is incredibly ahead of his time in way of imagination. It was actually my first ever sci-fi read as my mom had an old copy of it falling apart in her library so I stole it and read it
I'm currently into reading older fantasy and sci-fi from like the 70s through thr early 90s.
Especially the ones that aren't well known. The ones that have been forgotten to time and sit dusty on used bookstore shelves.
I recently read The Darkangel by Meredith Ann Pierce, which is from the 80s, and I'm currently reading Lens of the World by R.A. MacAvoy, which is from the 90s.
Does anyone else have recommendations for older books that just aren't talked about? They don't necessarily have to be fantasy and sci-fi, but those seem to be what's pulling me in lately.
