Is anyone else struggling with maintaining a clear mental picture of what's happening? This could be a combination of the fact that I'm listening to this book and the narrative style but I find that even though I know the places that are being talked about, I lose track sometimes.

Maybe its the early lockdown rose-tinted goggles, but I really enjoyed this book as someone who generally doesn't like romance novels. The plot has a reasonable amount of depth and the characters stay true to their archetypes. I also love interior design and felt the details included were all well described and well executed.

    NYC Boroughs

Has anyone seen the NYC mayoral voting results by borough? The boroughs that overwhelmingly voted Mamdani vs the one that overwhelmingly voted Cuomo made me IMMEDIATELY think of this book 😅
