This was a very compassionate biography of Marsha P. Johnson. You could really tell how much the author revered her. I did find the writing repetitive at times, and the timeline of her life’s retelling was not always in chronological order. I didn’t mind this, but it might not be preferable to others. But I felt it was a very good read.
