Started this book sooooo long ago and I forgot to finish it but finally loaned it again and read all of the beautiful stories.

I don’t everrrr read books like this but booktok convinced me and once again let me down. It’s just okay and the writing is incredibly amateur. I didn’t hate it, I definitely didn’t love it, and a lot of the time it was so cringe but it was an easy and fast read. I’ve sadly read worse books this year.

This book started off slow and instantly had me annoyed with the protagonist, Jay. Took a bit to finally get really into it but man, the pay off was worth it. Such a beautiful story about loss, grief, and forgiveness. Jay’s realization of his dad’s love really touched me and even had me emotional at times. 100% recommend!
