I'm looking for more book content creators to follow on YouTube and Instagram :) Ideally creators who do fantasy, scifi and commentary videos! Also creators who teach you book skills - like analysis, annotating, critical thinking. I find it super interesting! Some creators I love are: Nicolette (@thehungergamesteacher on ig!) and @stevenjreese on ig. uncarly, Jack Edwards & recently discovered Daniel Greene on YouTube - I really want to try his "ultimate fantasy reading guide"! I'm not on tiktok but share creators on there for anyone in the comments :)

If you're someone who DNFs books, what's one of the silliest or pettiest reasons you've stopped reading? I'll go first with some of mine: - The author kept repeating the same words/phrase, I couldn't stop noticing it and after 4 chapters I'd had enough - The MMC had the same name as an ex and I wasn't about to read a whole book where he gets a happy ending - They didn't use any punctuation marks at all Please tell me I'm not the only one who abandons books that should be interesting to me for ridiculous reasons?

Meaning, you can’t find it at any local bookstore or public library? I feel like this happens to me all the time. There are a lot of little gems on my list that once I find them, I feel so excited because I’ve had to search or wait for them for so long. Right now I can’t find: - Strange Fruit by Lillian Smith - The Iliac Crest by Cristina Rivera Garza - All These Sunken Souls: A Black Horror Anthology by Circe Moskowitz I’m curious about what other elusive books other people might be looking for 🕵️♀️📖

Hi all! I’m super into horror - I’ve been a bit disappointed with some of my reads lately - so I’m looking for some recs! The last ones I truly enjoyed are The Staircase in the Woods, Incidents Around the House, and The Troop.

A fantasy universe created by Sir Terry Pratchett, Discworld is a flat planet balanced on the backs of four elephants, which in turn stand on the back of a giant turtle. These are comedic novels that parody traditional fantasy tropes. All books can be read as standalones.
