I read this because it's gay but the writing was phenomenal... Will I enjoy Circe?

I preferred this to the first book. (I think it helped that all the world building had been done, but usually sequels aren’t as good, so I was pleasantly surprised.)
All the characters were consistent from the first book, everything felt complete, and I thought the poetry was better in this one. It was a satisfying ending.

I’m struggling to get into it but I’m still intrigued and want to know more. I feel like in the first few chapters there’s so many names that I’m getting confused on who’s who 😟

This wasn’t as good as the first two books, but at this point it could have been the worst thing ever and I’d have read it. I really disliked it up until about 50% and then it got a lot better again (though I do think it would have been better as a shorter story added into the second book).
I still have so many questions about the apples.
