It was a bit slower read for me than the first one I would say but the last ~20-15,% really picked up and the ending left me with my jaw on the floor. I really didn't connect some dots that were honestly so obvious after they were revealed but somehow went straight over my head while I was reading.

I would say this book was way less dreamlike/spooky-small-town-vibes and focused more on relationship, drama and detective part (which I don't mind honestly, just a bit sad it lost it's mysterious, creepy vibes but that's should be expected).

Overall I've been really enjoying this series, more than I initially expected.
