I feel like I’m not supposed to be drawn to Elm … but I am … is this problematic for me?! I can’t wait to find out! It’s all getting quite exciting ☺️

So I've struggled a bit with Grady Hendrix and his books. I tried to read The Southern Book Club's Guide to Slaying Vampires, but simply could not get into it and DNF'ed about a quarter of the way through. I gave him another shot with My Best Friend's Exorcism and absolutely loved it. So my question is for those of you who've read this: should I give this book a shot? Or should I try another one of his titles like How to Sell a Haunted House? Or maybe avoid his current publications?? Please help a poor grrl out :)

I love that moment in a high fantasy story when things start clicking and you start seeing how the different POVs connect in some way ☺️

This was an enjoyable read, a brilliant gothic romantasy with a lot to say about change and growth in a person’s faith…also I think the gargoyle might be my favourite fictional character of all time!

I'm getting through this book much faster than I'd like! I can't put it down and I don't want it to end ... I love the eerie undertone to the plot that I never expected! Also, if anything happens to the gargoyle, Rachel Gillig will hear from me!!

Was curious what everyone's thoughts on this was. Since getting back into reading I've also been adding books to my personal library. I have also gotten into collecting the beautiful special edition prints of books, especially the broken binding and a few illumicrate editions. I usually display these as art pieces, my broken binding copy of Blood Over Brighthaven and The Devils is currently cover out in front of some paperbacks I have and was curious if others did this as well?
