A beautifully written story that exudes raw emotion and shines a light on how guilt can change a person

I am all in on this story! The writing is brilliant, the style has such an easy flow and I now have the real itch to go watch some Shakespeare at the Globe! 😍

Felt like the bare bones of a story rather than a thoroughly fleshed out tale but Sel’s story is what kept me reading until the end

At times it felt a bit disjointed but I enjoyed the story - definitely could have done with more Poe content 🥹

Running through a park with a tyrannosaur on your tail? What more could you ask for? Its a compelling dystopian horror that’s easy to read and fun to lose yourself in!

The start was a bit rocky, the story didn’t grab me as much as the first book but once the action starts, that’s where the excitement comes in!

The action in the second half more than makes up for the steady paced first half, where character arcs are developed and revelations are made that have me excited for book 3!
