I actually really liked it. Going into the story, I knew there were plenty of polarizing reviews, but I wanted to see for myself because the premise was super interesting to me.
I thought the writing was high-quality. I really understood Natalie's character and could truly feel the tension and turmoil through all the intense scenes.
To fully appreciate the story (esp the ending), you need to have a good grasp of satire and mommy issues LOL. I could compare this to R.F. Kuang's Yellowface.
