we're already moots, hi saloni!

anywayy i'm millie, i'm 17 (a lot younger than some people on here haha) and i plan to study english lit at uni when i go next year, so i get to read a lot with college and in my spare time! my love of reading comes from my family- being read to as a kid, then reading to myself before bed (which i still do!). i primarily read on my kindle, where i'm logged into my sister's amazon account to steal her kindle unlimited subscription 😈

i read a lottt of thrillers, not all of them good, but i've recently gotten back into fantasy and i'm looking to read a lot more horror (my summer goal is to read a lot of mermaid horror on holiday haha)

i'm welsh, neurodivergent and a lesbian and therefore i am veeeery woke lmao so i love seeing representation in books- even if it's not necessarily someone like me i know that someone somewhere can read that character and feel seen and loved.

non bookish facts- i am very much a cat lady and my ultimate dream in life is to live in a rural cottage with a bunch of cats, a snake and a lizard and write. i love love love to write, whether it's my own original novels, cheesy fanfiction or essays about things i find interesting. looking to get back into publishing my essays again soon (substack scared me haha) so stay tuned 😛

i'm also a keen baker and artist, and am making both the wedding cake and the signage for my sister's wedding next week! i play a lot of video games too (i've been in my stardew valley phase recently) so for me it's important to have hobbies where i'm not staring at a screen all day.

i also just love to yap (weird, i used to have selective mutism and am very much an introvert haha) about literally anything so i love the pagebound club!
