  • A Little Life
Thoughts from 4% — just a curious question, please indulge me

At what point did you start to get hooked on the story? No spoilers please. 🙂‍↕️

Right now I don’t feel it’s dragging but I need a quiet place to focus and immerse myself in the book (but I have work so lol).

  • Library Import

Hey I’m new here on this app and so far I absolutely love it! Since I’m planning to stay on this app I now have to decide wether I’m going to I’m going to import all the books from the other app I have (I’m going to keep it as well so nothing would be lost if I don’t) or if I take this app as a “fresh start“. I’m really curious about what others have to say about the books I’ve read before but am also not sure if it’s worth importing them all. What are your thoughts on it and how did y‘all do it?💖

  • Romance book recs?

I'm not much of a romance reader despite being a self-proclaimed romantic irl, so i want to expand my horizons and read some! The only romance book that I liked was luck and last resorts by sarah ruiz, but it felt too lighthearted and sappy for me.

Does anyone know any romance that has a more damning and heavier conflict? Like enemies to lovers or estranged friends to lovers if that makes sense? In fanfiction terms, hurt comfort but the hurt ACTUALLY hurts

  • Number of physically owned books?

Hi everyone! 👋 I’m curious: How many books do you physically own? (mainly asking about physical books because my primary concern is shelf space) Are you happy with this number? Do you do regular unhauls to maintain/get closer to your ideal number? And on a related note, what percentage of those books have you actually read? 😉

I have about 300 books on my shelves, and I’ve currently read about 40% of them, which I’m hoping to remedy this year! (either by reading more of them or unhauling the ones I’m no longer interested in)
