This was one of the most eye opening, raw, and deep memoir I have ever read! I cried so much 😭

I’ve always loved Viola Davis. I believe she is such an amazingly talented actress, to learn of her life story and how to got to where she is now was eye opening. Her life wasn’t easy. I respected her and now have even more respect for her. So empowering!

Fave quote: “I’m no longer ashamed of me. I own everything that has ever happened to me. The parts that were actually a source of shame are my warrior fuel.”

This was an absolutely amazing read! The intensity, adventure, and the mysterious nature of what is to come was so gripping, it just left me wanting more.

I loved everything when it came to Calista and Thorne. The banter, the sexual tension, the smut. Oof! They are definitely meant to me. Written in the stars as they say!

I can’t wait for the next book!

I’m not always keen on fake dating because I feel like it always leads to miscommunication and someone getting hurt. Which makes this no exception.

There were times I would be getting frustrated with Stella because she was never saying how she felt and had so many inner thoughts. Literally wanted to yell at my phone, “TELL HIM HOW YOU FEEL OMG.” 😂 But that’s the point, the built tension just adds to the drama of these characters doing the bloody opposite of what you want the to do in order to keep reading to find out if they finally do or not. Which I love! 🤭

Also, the side mystery was awesome. I love a mystery element, just adds another level of interest even when it’s not the main thing happening.

I’m excited to read the next books in this series.
