This was phenomonal. The author explores the utilization of AI services for non-human companionship through the lens of various sources, as well as gaining insight from the people who created these services themselves. Each chapter feels as if its posing one big moral question; "We could do this, but should we?" The writing is clear and polished, while also getting personal and humourous at times. Although this book was about AI, it almost addresses technology's effect on modern society as a whole. This was honestly was just a perfect book and I absolutely recommend reading if you are interested in a discussion about generative AI/chatbots.
