so iāve realized that i struggle when books have long chapters, because once i start reading a chapter i feel obligated to finish it, and if itās a long one thatās not always realistic. on my kindle it tells me how much time is left in the chapter, and itās so discouraging when it says like ā20 mins left in chapterā. i donāt know if it makes sense but i feel like iām accomplishing more when i read a bunch of short chapters versus one long one. also, in my opinion long chapters sometimes feel run on, like they should actually be split into multiple shorter ones.
iām curious to hear other peopleās thoughts about chapter length, and maybe be convinced into liking long chapters š

Hi PB!
Have you bedazzled a book!? I did one at a local bookstore craft meetup a little bit ago and it was so time consuming fun!! It scratched that "color by numbers" itch but make it "crafty". The prefect companion for an audiobook on a rainy day.
Here is the one I did!!

I'm OBSESSED now. š¤©
Post yours below!!š«¶ I wanna see em š
Edit: folks asking what supplies I used:
Have fun!!!

One of my favorite parts about collecting books are the covers. I have a couple books on display because they are simply too beautiful to leave on my shelf. I remember seeing Daughter of the Moon Goddess for the first time and being in awe over how beautiful it was. Iām curious, what are some of your favorite covers?

How do you all like to read a series?
Do you binge it all, finishing one book and moving onto the next in the series? Or do you read one book then have a few palette cleansers before progressing with the series?
I find sometimes when I binge a series I can get a bit fed up of the world or characters and feel like I then slow down my reading due to getting a bit bored of the same thingš«© However, when I take a break in between, I can struggle to remember details from the previous booksš¤¦š¼āāļø
How do you tackle a series, or do you just avoid them? Any tips and tricks, I am curiousāØ

Are you ever listening to a song, new or old, and realise "Holy crap, this is JUST like character/s"? Cause it happens to me a concerning amount! Maybe because I listen to music about as much as I read.
The other day I was listening to a song I haven't heard in awhile, Is This How It Ends? by Wage War, and realised it's PERFECT for Nic and Tilda from The HazelHurst Duology by Holly Thorn. This is the newest of many, many examples. (Their song Magnetic also very much suits Nic and Tilda!)
Anyway, how often do you find this happening to you?
