Very much Beauty and the Beast vibes, just without the trade ya freedom for your pops. After leaving her trash of an ex-boyfriend, Peony gets a job as a housekeeper for Mr. Edgewood. Mr.Edgewood, Rupert Edgewood, is a very reclusive temperamental billionaire and when I say reclusive I mean Peony has never seen or talked to Rupert directly. They are complete opposites, but after Peony cooks some amazing dishes for him and Rupert finds out she needs help they start to get closer. Major problem though, Rupert doesn't want to be seen and Peony doesn't think she can trust a man she's never met.
There's a lot of mutual curiosity, attraction, and pining that kept me hooked, it's just really adorable! Very cute and cozy, especially in the beginning. There is some spicy, which to me was a great bonus. Rupert is very cute throughout getting to know Peony, after being alone for a while, Peony is a shock to his system and he will do pretty much anything for her. Peony stands on business and lets her wants be known, and I just loved her. Especially her companionship with her emotional support vacuum. 😂
Overall, I loved all the characters, I loved the pacing, the cuteness, and would definitely recommend this to my monster lovers. OH! Fellow monsters I just want y'all, to know we win in this, I can't say much because I don't want to spoil anything, but just know it's monster for the win!👀🤭

Omg I loved this! Get this a short snarky and beautiful florist, tall funny and hot as hell artists, AND sweet and caring mechanic daddy! What more do you need me to say???
Madi, Dallas, and June are the throuple trouble you need to read about! If they’re not up to kinky fun, they’re being cute as hell. Yes they all have their flaws and it may or may not get in the way, but thankfully they have somewhat decent communication skills. Also, this town has some amazing people! Definitely nails the found family and gives amazing community vibes, a community that is annoyingly nosy but you love them.
Trust me, this is a must-read if you love a why-choose romance with found family, kinky fun (check ya triggers), and nosy neighbors/friends.
