‼️SPOILERS‼️
I haven’t read too many books by K.A. Merikan but the ones I’ve read, they’re freaking amazing. When I saw that one of the tropes featured another world, I just knew I had to read this one. This book did not disappoint me whatsoever.
From the moment I started the book with Nate trying to rescue the puppies because swoon, puppies, I was all in. His current boyfriend who becomes his ex is a complete douche. I was so happy when his ex got himself embarrassed at the party when he tried to take responsibility of saving the puppies. Heck, he left Nate to die!
From the moment that Tristan and Nate met, I just knew this was a love at first sight deal. The way that these two gravitated towards one another even with one being human and one being from a completely different world.
Things happen that I don’t want to save but Tristan is the utmost cinnamon roll boyfriend I’ve ever met. There were a few times I wanted to shake Nate. I knew he was hurting but c’mon, what more do you want?
When Nate finally does get what he wants, he realizes it’s not in the end. I wanted to strangle him for hurting my Tristan. Ugh. Tristan’s just the sweetest. Don’t hurt my baby anymore. I beg of you.
I could not put my kindle down whatsoever. I finished this by late afternoon when I started it in the morning. If you love fantasy romances, cinnamon roll boyfriends, found family, hurt/comfort and just all the feels, these two are for you. Also, the world building was just so good!
I received a copy of this book and this is my honest review.

‼️SPOILERS‼️
I have not read that many books by C.p. Harris but once again; with the books I have read, I’m completely in awe with how they write and how they bring the characters to life.
I will say to get the best experience from this book is to go in blind because I did and oh man, those surprises that kept on happening was amazing.
First off, the spice was top notch and the way that these two men gravitate towards one another was amazing.
I haven’t read a good paranormal romance in a hot minute and that’s how I got into romance when I was a teen. I love me a good vampire character mix in with monsters that truly intrigues me and my goodness, these characters from the main characters to the side characters truly captured my heart.
This is definitely a slow burn but my goodness, Gabriel and Nicholas go through it. I was here for it. I love how immediately Nicholas was immediately drawn to Gabriel. Gabriel loves Nicholas so much and he would do anything for Nicholas. When I say anything, he would crawl on his knees for him.
My heart did die a bit when a certain scene because Nicholas was as trying to figure out everything.
And that ending… I need the second book like right now!
If you’re looking for a book that draws you in, has the paranormal aspect and has MC’s that would do anything for each other, this book is for you. Also, if you are a huge fan of found family, you’ll love this one.
I cannot wait for the next installment.

‼️SPOILERS‼️
I swear whenever Bec and Lexi come out with a book, I will drop everything I’m doing because I know they I’m going to have a good time with whatever they’ve created. I have never read any other that collaborate as well as these two.
I truly loved Porter and Will so much. They had my heart from the moment we met them. I really loved how natural Will’s biawakening happened. Absolutely perfection.
From the moment these two met, which wasn’t ideal, I just knew that they were going to be fun. I laughed when they got to do an assignment together. Porter didn’t want this because of a past thing that happened and Will immediately wanted to redeem himself because he felt horrible.
I felt for Porter because he got hurt in the past from the guy. Also, his family life was hard too. He doesn’t know any better but to keep Will away. That doesn’t work, though.
I knew when they did the cold plunge that things were going to be interesting with them. That scene right there had me giggling. From the hugging and just being around one another, I fell in love with their relationship.
When Will starts spending a lot of time with Porter, even his friends and teammates start noticing things.
These two are just so adorable and it made me want more. From the spicy times to just how adorable they were with one another, I knew without a doubt that these two were going to make me love them so much.
The speech chapter had me in my feels because what?! The way he did that, it made me love Will so much. Will does a proposal for Porter to be his boyfriend. Swoon my heart!
If you’re looking for a book that’s going to make you feel so good, has very low angst and just makes you just have a grand time, an amazing found family, this book is also for you. Also, if you’ve been wanting to dive into their books, this book is just the perfect one to jump into.
