you mustttttt go in blind, & also listen to the audiobook. elle fanning did such an incredible job, & truly can’t wait to see her in the adaptation! 📺
this story is so unique, quirky, relatable & just real overall. it’s a messy story of being a young mom & truly the lengths margo (& mom’s in general) would go for their babies.
i enjoyed this so so much, especially meaningful being a new mom myself. 🫶🏼

while this story is very similar to a lot of other thrillers i’ve read, it was still enjoyable. i liked having an unreliable narrator, kept it interesting. the taylor swift references were waaaaaaay to much (preferably zero) but an easy thriller to binge nonetheless. even easier on audio.
audiobook was enjoyable!

a bit slower of a thriller for me, but a few of the twists got me, so that’s a positive. this was a sadder thriller, which had me a little emotional at the end.
audiobook was enjoyable!

if this was 100 pages shorter, it’d be a higher rating for me. i just felt like it was superrrrr slow 40% of the book, just kept listening bc i was committed & wanted to see the ending.
overall easy read/listen, just wish it was a bit more gripping and twisty.
