Hopefully this is better than the cover and lives up to if the boot fits 🤭

I haven't read a whole lot of different genres but I would say this definitely falls under adventure romance. This book was more action packed than the first one in the series. I loved seeing things from Lorelei's pov! She was my second favorite sister in the first book. She a very inspiring character, she's well balanced in her skills and her personality is beautiful. Tanner was confusing at first but I started to understand him more as the story went on, the dude had very little self confidence seeing as pretty much every person ever close to him tossed him to the side. In a way I wish Lorelei and Tanner's dynamic wouldn't have had so many similarities to Riley and Juniper's, but it also makes sense these sisters are out very far west where eligible men are few and far between. The younger sisters also don't seem to have a lot of baggage themselves, the hurts that have happened to them they seem to have handled quite well. Rosemary is a different story but it makes sense that she would have more baggage to go through from the death of both their parents since she's the oldest. So the similarities in the relationships between both books makes sense in a way.
The romance in this book didn't feel as sudden as the one in the first book which I liked but there were a few heavier kissing scenes which I didn't like as much but the book was still clean.
I didn't like how little things were described, it made all scenery super hard to imagine. It started off fairly slow paced, in a way, but it did pickup pace sooner than the first book.
White horse being a major side character was awesome! Im super curious about him and Rosie???
Umm I don't really know what else to say, this has kinda been a messy review.
Overall I really liked this book, Im super excited to read the next one and see what awaits this family next!

I’m making a 2026 goal to get my physical TBR down. This one has been on my shelf for long enough that it would be embarrassing to give a concrete answer. My solution? An audiobook. It still gets a physical book off my list, but the narrator puts in all the work for me and I get to sit back and reap the benefits.
