holy wow holy wow okay i’m totally biased because i listened to the audiobook narrated by joshua waters (major loser honkai: star rail fan 😭) but this was genuinely such a fun listen i love how the characters established their connections and how they grew with their time at brain i’m sure the biggest critique is the whole “why would rory have such influence in the academic world?” rebuttal but honestly, i thought it was a fun mechanic that really got to shed a light on child exploitation in a way every single moment of the narration brought an emotional style of reading to me that i didn’t know i was capable of having and i really hope that joshua picks up another audiobook gig because i will be the first in line this was definitely one of my top books of 2026 and im excited to see what else page has in store!
