hi there !!
as spring approaches, i’m growing a bit tired of my dark fantasy / medieval vibes books. i’m looking for something more whimsical now that the sun is coming out — i don’t mind it still being fantasy but as long as it’s not dark or depressing lol. i’m looking for tinkerbell, sparkly fairies, NICE mermaids, pastels vibes.
pls & thnx !! 🩵

I don’t consider the Beast a villain, but I understand the technicalities of the curse and why he could have villain-like traits. Serena definitely made him much darker than the film portrayed, which I appreciated. However, I was never a fan of Beauty and the Beast so I found myself not caring as much while reading.
Still cutesy, still determined to finish the series!

Just started this series thanks to TikTok and I have to admit, I think the concept is quite cool if you’re a huge Disney fan! I don’t associate myself with the cringey Disney adults but I do appreciate Disney as it was a huge part of my childhood.
The best way to describe the first book in the series is with a quote from Wicked: “Are people born wicked or do they have wickedness thrust upon them?” I gave it a 3.5 because it was a tad too vague and childish (I’m well aware it’s meant for young adults). It could’ve used more depth, it went a little too fast, and they never gave the Queen a name! All and all, it was still a decent read.
On to the second book!
