This is probably my second favorite romance book I’ve ever read. A good friend who has POTS sent me this book as a gift after gushing over it and thought I would like it to. I literally love this book!
I’ve learned so much from reading about these different characters and their respective chronic illnesses. Honestly it’s a beautiful story done well! I don’t want to spoil this because I really want people to pick this up and read about Skylar + Pike. What I will say is I love how we got to get realistic representation from those who have acquired their chronic illnesses from different things. It’s very inclusive in a way I haven’t seen before. Obviously there’s some fake dating in there which is great - it’s a trope I love, sue me. There’s beautiful friendships, and ways to navigate difficult feelings about things that cannot be changed and I really needed that for my own lesson. Give this book a chance. You won’t regret it.
