Iâm pretty disappointed because I loved 'The Invisible Life of Addie Larue' so much that I expected to really like this new book as well (especially since it had lesbian vampires WHAT MORE COULD I ASK FOR?) but it didnât do it for me at all; in fact, it even gave me a reading slump :(. Honestly, the only thing worth mentioning for me were the characters. I really like this authorâs writing style, but I honestly donât know where she was trying to go with this book, and the ending feelsâafter spending 500 pagesâvery rushed and abrupt (not to mention predictable). It was a pretty lackluster read that, as I said, only stood out to me because of the three main female characters. It was a disappointment I didnât expect to experience, and one that has left me feeling sad right now.

Personally, the perfect audiobook speed for me is 1.5x but when Iâm really in the zone I like to go to 2x. My husbandâs is a strict 1x and I have a coworker who only listens to her audiobooks on 2x speed! I was just curious to see what other peopleâs perfect audiobook speeds are!
