Although I kind of guessed the plot twist about halfway through, it was still a very great read. While being very YA in terms of the relationships and school dynamics, it explores heavy and important themes and was overall well executed.
4 stars only because it was a little slow in some areas where I felt I had to speed up the audiobook to get through, but other than that it was pretty solid!
Definitely recommend!

I absolutely love this app already. As a millennial whose first intro to social media was MySpace in 2006, this app feels so authentic to that time period. I hope other social media in the future follows suit!

This is How You Lose the Time War is one that's been recommended to me a million times and now... well, it's too much pressure. I'm sure it's great! I'll get to it eventually... probably đ€
Are there books people say you'd adore that you can't quite crack open yet?

Devon saying that everyone is generally cool and there's only "the one person" giving him a hard time and that the whole ACES thing didn't seem racially motivated, I can't help to think how I thought the same thing when I was one of the VERY few POCs in my predominately white high school in Utah (very mormon. very conservative). That when you're young and in that environment where you're the minority that you kind of try to ignore the racial microaggressions. Or don't want to believe them. Specially if you dealt with outright racism and felt like you had to swallow those feelings down in order not to make things worse. And feeling like a coward for not calling it out. And it just takes one thing for them to turn on you.
When the 2016 election happened (trump) I remember realizing HOW MANY PEOPLE were so racist from my school. How many of people I considered friends/acquaintances and even exs. Of course not everyone was like that, but I feel like so many POCs have dealt with that punch to the gut when you realize how many people you thought cared for you or you felt safe with were quick to turn their back on you.
I did not expect this book to bring up so many emotions from my teenage years. I think it's very well done so far!

This is one of those books youâre meant to hate the main character right? Because girlâŠ.

Would it be possible that when you hit the âBrowse Allâ (web) or the arrow (app) that it separates the main quests and the side quests? Right now when you click either the Main Quest button/arrow and the Side Quest button/arrow it shows both of them together, and with there being so many new quests (not complaining, I love all the quest options!) you have to sort through a lot to find side vs main quest. And with many more quests probably coming down the line, I think it would be helpful! Specially if youâre just in the mood for some small side quests and vise versa (:

If "Good Omens" (the TV show, not the book), "The Good Place" and Hitchhiker's Guide were all smashed together in the most fun way!
