I came to Casakraine to dance. Not to catch the eye of a High Fae Lord. Not to become soulbonded to an immortal who looks at me like I'm already his. Not to be taken off the street moments after our gazes meet
This was a very disappointing short story... the potential was there but the story was not made for a short story! This book should have been about 200/300 pages instead of the 80 something pages!
The world building was fantastic! I honestly was so excited and i to be honest really want to know about all those dimensions and fae realms and how it works, but we didnt get that...
Instead we got a fae high lord who inserts himself forcibly into a world of a human who is his mate but she doesnt want him in her life, there is no plot and there is no chemistry, there is no build up at all. He just takes over her whole life, pays everything for her and doesnt let her do anything anymore.
So no, i know there is a second book but i won't buy it, because if this is all you do with the short story then i already know the second book won't be worth my time already!

Lavinia has it all. A loving family (complete with adorable pet baby dragon). A place at university training to be a magical animal vet. And a part-time job at the enchanting Baby Dragon Cafe. The only thing she doesn’t have is her one true love: Theo.
Honestly, i was excited for this book! I absolutely adore the first book and has become one of my favourite comfort reads! But this book, im sorry, wasn't fully it for me!
The miscommunication trope, i dislike it with my whole hard because it is either a hit or a miss and most times its a complete miss and that is the same with this book! Was i excited for the story of Lavinia and Theo? Absolutely, but this book didn't hit it for me!
But a good thing is that the same whimsical vibes were still there! I loved how the book just goes on with where the last book was but then out of Lavinia and Theo which made me so happy!
On the other side i really do adore Lavinia and Theo! They are so adorable and its so sweet how they are so each other! It was lovely to get to know more of the baby dragon world too! Ofcourse the first book told a lot already but as Lavinia works as a vet it was great to get to know more background information of the other creatures that also exist in this world next to the dragons!
