Ancient Women Who Terrify Me (In A Good Way)
Ancient heroines, goddesses, villains, and ordinary civilians all fighting for a sliver of agency in traditionally male dominated societies. The mythos surrounding these women may be centuries old, but one thing is certain; a good novel can animate even the most ancient tales.

A collection of the pilot books for popular series, for those of us who love to follow a character's journey for as long as an author will let us! Some of the below series have heavily debated starting points and book read orders--in those cases the pilot was selected based on what seems to be the most popular approach.

I have a vacation coming up HOT and while I'm excited for the trip itself, I'm also excited to have a bunch of time I can read!
Do you have a preferred genre to read on vacation or method of picking out books? One of my friends likes lighter happy books (maximum relaxation I get it!). I'm the opposite and take on more involved books (The Priory of the Orange Tree is on my list for the plane!) since I can actually devote brain power to it that usually is sapped by work. It does varies a little for me depending on the type of vacation (sitting at the beach all day vs. running around exploring). I'm curious what other people like to do!
