It has taken me a long time to get through this book, which I can blame on the reading slump. I'm glad that I am reading because this book so far is cute and to me describes a good slow burn. The chapters are pretty short, but now I'm reaching the end anddd starting to get scared of what's coming.

I was looking for a good thriller book and found this one TODAY! Finished it in one sitting, I even had my friend reading and trying to figure out the mystery. Every page was something new and kept me so interested that I wanted to finish the book. The book is very easy to read, but the writing and DETAILSSS made every short page worth it. I loved the plot twists that kept coming because I was never expecting them! The pictures in there, as well, made me feel like I was in the story and like a little detective 🕵️♀️. When I say I got chills, I legit got chills. It was amazing to read a short book that had me scared of sounds in my hallway! The way it ended, too, was perfect. Something I didn’t see coming, but the way it was ended was so different than unlike any other thriller/horror book I read. I also loved the little subplots in there that tied in together at the end of the book! I would recommend reading this (⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️).

If there is food, do you really need the romance? Regardless, these books will give you both.
