Do Androids Dream of Electric Sheep? (Blade Runner)
Philip K. Dick

Had to read this for uni. Hated every second of it. The writing style made it hard to follow what was happening, and none of the characters were compelling. I especially hated how every woman was written and portrayed, which I could excuse if they were written that way intentionally as a social commentary, but given that this was written in the 30s, I'm gonna go ahead and guess that wasn't the goal and that Marlowe's gaze was supposed to be aspirational.
