This book felt like a tv show with the drama, the high stakes, the back stabbing, and the romance. The inclusion of the interviews also gave the story a lot of depth and was fun to listen to. Cat and Heath were such interesting characters. I really respect Cat’s drive and dedication to ice dance, even when she went too far. Heath was another story for me. Cat is too forgiving of both him and Bella. It kind of killed the story for me a little. Even though I enjoyed the writing, I thought the book should’ve ended after the first Olympics because the story felt a little too long. Overall an entertaining read!

Such a gripping read. I read Divine Rivals 2 years ago, yet was hooked immediately by this book. The writing is so beautiful and poetic that it’s easy to get emotionally wrapped up in the story as it unfolds. I loved the exploration into the gods and the magic, it gave the world so much more depth than the first book. Once again, Roman Kitt brings a whole new level to yearning and romance. I really enjoyed this conclusion to the duology and recommend it!
