âšSafe spaceâš whatâs something you just need to complain about (no matter how big or small). Sometimes you just gotta LET. IT. OUT.

I love reading. I find it intellectually stimulating and kind of freeingâa way to escape the mundanity of daily life. But I struggle to find books I really enjoy. When I do find one, I tend to read it really slowly and often never finish it.
I used to be really into dystopia. I could finish books in just a few days, staying up late to readâit was the best feeling. But after a while, I got a little tired; some plots just kept repeating themselves from book to book. I wanted to try something different, but again, I find myself reading so slowly that I rarely finish.
Do you have any advice, or anything to say about it ?

This is an introduction to modern poetry, with a focus on breadth of voices and styles rather than depth. In the words of Leonard Cohen, "poetry is just the evidence of life...if your life is burning well, poetry is just the ash." This quest is for those who love poetry, hate poetry, want to write it, read it, or perhaps have nothing to do with it (or all of that at once)!
