Hello everybody, as you can probably guess I’m on the lookout for some textbooks/nonfiction books that are about biology and nature. I’ve already joined the “plants, ferns __” something quest, and I’m planning to tackle the bronze badge for that soon.

The matter is that, biology has always been my favorite subject in school, specifically biology about nature, plants and our Earth. I’ve switched schools multiple times, and the one I’m at now is a special education school that has 3 subjects, where biology isn’t an option (the only interesting one is math, and I’m catching up quickly in that) and I feel like I’m not learning anything, and I’m not getting challenged the way I need to. it’s so boring I feel my soul leaving my body, the focus is, in my opinion, too much on the social aspect instead of the educational aspect. Theres so much I want to vent about but that’s not what I’m here for. (unfortunately 😞) so whenever we go for a walk in the forest, like we did today, I get so excited because then we usually have a very nature nerdy teacher with us that gives us a mission to find mushrooms and plants, and even if it’s not what will satisfy my curiosity, I still love it (and my 2 friends and I all found our first fly agaric today! 17 in one spot!)

So I must take this matter into my own hands, I want to learn, and I would like to ask for recommendations, I wanna learn more about clouds, our weather, plants and fungi and their abilities, insects, anything within that category. I’m planning to buy a notebook and write notes about what I learn, make drawings, etc. I enjoy writing notes and studying, so I figured it’d be a good way to do it.
