I got bored and decided to add a "bookshelf" tab to my reading spreadsheet, catalogue every book I own & mark if I've read them or not.
I was absolutely not expecting the number to be so high!! I always thought I was good at reading the books I buy, but my TBR books are higher than my finished books.
I have 117 unread books đŹ It's definitely given me a kick to start focussing on reading those. But I'm curious, does anyone have more than that? Or do you stay on top of it & keep your numbers down?

Itâs not often a book has such an impact on me like this did - once I hit around the 60% mark i couldnât put it down & I ended up uncontrollably crying for the last 40 or so pages.
We knew the ending from the beginning, yet I kept reading and hoping, praying, begging for us to be wrong. oh how I hoped it was a misdirection. Iâll be thinking about this book, this town & these characters for a long time.

This wasn't for me & I'm very sad that I ended up not loving this after all the hype.
I went into this knowing nothing and I think if I'd known what it was, I wouldn't have picked it up. I know I'm someone who doesn't enjoy open-ending & unanswered questions and that is all this book will leave you with.
It was an interesting idea and I generally enjoyed reading it, but I didn't find it as emotional as I'd seen from other people and I didn't get much from it.

This was interesting & I loved getting a behind-the-scenes look at some of my favourite shows growing up, I just wish it went into a bit more detail about the business/corporate side of Disney more. I really enjoyed that at the start of the book!

I read Beartown in 2019 and Us Against You in 2023, think it's finally time I finish out the series!
Despite the huge breaks, I love these books & can't wait to get into this one - bring on the heartbreak đ

I was intrigued by the premise but the mystery felt a bit dragged out & I started to feel bored by the end, not the most satisfying ending. I could see where it was going, but it took forever to get there, and when it did I didn't feel the satisfaction of the reveal.
I also started this in December last year, put it down for ages and had no motivation to pick it back up so that's not a great sign!
