If anyone has read the book and listened to the audio, I’d love to hear your thoughts.
I’m thinking of buying the book, because I think the audio limits the breadth in which I’m able to perceive the characters. (Does that make sense?)
Audio lovers… please chime in!

Oh my god I loved this book. The banter was top notch and I generally hate it when a book is trying to be quippy for the sake of quotable banter. But this flowed so well, the way Simon and Charlie spend the entire book beginning to understand and then implementing the things they learn about one another was just perfection. Genuinely such an easy read, so cute and fun and quirky and definitely is going to be the key to get me back on my reading feet. A perfect blend of pulling pigtails because you like someone and genuinely respecting them for who they are. Simon’s struggles felt real and fleshed out, not something just done for the sake of diversity points. And Charlie, god I just loved Charlie. He met Simon where he was while still challenging him and making sure he was always reassured.

Simon saying he tips well because it’s “combat pay” for putting up with him really is just music to my food service ears

As the title says, I’m in just the worst reading slump ever. Knocked out my book goal for the year in march and then just lost all motivation to keep reading. What do yall do to help bring that spark back? What books could you recommend to help break a slump of massive proportions? Please help, it’s dire!
