This book was kind of all over the place. The love triangle was just okay. I feel like it was made to be a bigger plotline than it actually was. I think she had better chemistry with the guy she didn't end up with, but the other guy was still okay so it wasn't a total disappointment. I just felt like we didn't get to see enough of her with either of the love interests, which was a bummer cause I was excited for the love triangle. The most interesting part was watching her do her job. It was so cool to see how she handled situations, planning events, and just going through her day to day work. I honestly would have read an entire book of her just doing her job. I was disappointed by the ending. I did not feel fulfilled and didn't feel like I got good closure. The book was good, but I expected a bit more.

2010s YA dystopian and fantasy icons
my middle school reads were basically all dystopian. everyone was reading them (if you were cool) and I was obsessed with them (and I still am). all of the books included in this list are the first book in the series. also, all of these book were published in the 2010s, even if they were not popular during those times

The combination of a second chance romance with an accidental marriage and Vegas that causes a fake dating/marriage is genius. Nora and Derek had great chemistry, and it was so clear that they both still had feelings for each other. She was such a cheerful character and evened out Derek's grumpiness. She was also such a girl boss, which was very inspiring to see how hard she worked to achieve her dreams in a predominately male industry. I do always love a fake dating because it forces them to see each other in an intimate way, which is what usually makes them fall for each other.
