This was an enjoyable listen. I thought the narrator did a great job! Overall it was just fine. It was definitely better than Dial A for Aunties which I DNF’d. Let this be proof that narrators matter!!

Oh this book was full so many golden nuggets and moments that gave me pause. By the end I was a bawling mess!
There is a lot to appreciate about this story: kindness, compassion, and connection towards others, generosity and friendship just to name a few. If you appreciate stories that cause you to reflect or contemplate things in your own life I think this is a book you will really enjoy! I certainly connected to themes throughout the book and there were parts that deeply resonated with me.
The only criticism I’ll mention is it felt very long. There came a point that I felt I could skim over parts and I wouldn’t miss out on anything. The pacing felt slow. So much so that I felt pulled out of the story.
Because I remain spoiler free I will just say it was the ending that saved it all for me.

Ohhh this is a book I needed as I’m mid reading slump! A fantastic mystery/thriller with some spice free romance thrown in just for good measure!
This story had me guessing and suspicious of everyone! I thought I had some pretty good theories going and I was pleasantly surprised by the end!!
I loved the audiobook and recommend reading it that way! Word on the street is you get some extra audio only material which was so fun!!
Now I need another great book like this one to keep the reading going!!
