I read Oro's side first because you always start with what you like the least 😁 and thank god I did because I got to live his bromance with grim🥵

At the beginning Oro made me feel a little bad with the whole thing about his father 💔 I loved the relationship he has with Calder, Zed and Enya, I really hope he ends up with her, I don’t believe that in +500 years nothing ever happened there And the bromance, you can kind of understand Oro being mad because Grim was his friend, I loved their dynamic 🥹🥹

Grim, GRIMSHAW MALVERE 🫦🫦 you always owned me His part also starts heavy with the death of his siblings but I loved how his romance with Isla developed, I expected the wedding to be a bit more expanded but it’s fine ❤️‍🩹❤️‍🩹

this book is incredible!!! i loved it!! finally more grim interaction

i’ve been reading these books thinking “team oro what, why?” but in this book he dropped some gems👀🥵 and i can understand why some people side with him… not me though

example: the dress scene, GOLDEN chapter 🫦🫦 i get why team oro exists a little, maybe he just needed a push to show his more fiery side

“Say that to me when you aren’t moaning my name in your sleep, and i might believe you.” i mean… fair enough 🫦🫦

but then we have this: “I’m not sure of much in this world, isla, but i am sure of this. My love for you doesn’t know reason. It doesn’t know limit. It doesn’t know death. In every universe, every timeline, i am yours. And you are mine.” 🧎🏻‍♀️🧎🏻‍♀️🧎🏻‍♀️❤️‍🩹❤️‍🩹

“you are something i want to ruin”

a lot of people think this is a tamlin situation, but i honestly believe we’re heading toward a will tessa jem situation 👀👀 i’ll repeat it: i don’t like books with different timelines, but i’ll allow it here because the “before” is all about grim.

when i saw the present timeline had fewer pages and the before sections had more, i knew something good was coming.

THAT ENDING!!!! now i have to wait until tomorrow to start the next one 😭😭 and yes, i’m still team grim. i genuinely don’t understand team oro.

i’d been dying to start this series and now that there’s only one book left to be published, i finally picked it up — and with the physical copies in my hands!

it’s a bit chaotic with everything that happens, and honestly, i wasn’t expecting the book to go this way. isla is fine and the boys too, and i’m guessing the next one will dive deeper into oro.

i’m taking this to the grave, but i’ve been team grim before even reading the book. literally since i saw the cover of the 3.5.

when oro did what he did, i was like: “yep, 100% team grim, easiest decision ever.” but then that ending… listen, i’m still team grim, but i can understand why people are team oro.

i’m not usually a friends to lovers girl but this one worked for me!! i think every book in this series has some kind of fake dating going on.

weston calloway was great as a mc and carlee too and i loved getting more bits of lexi and easton.
